St Albans High School for Girls (STAHS) Senior has worked to refurbish two locally listed 1930s Arts and Crafts houses previously used for administration and small teaching groups. By opening up adjoining rooms, the scheme created 8 new classrooms.

Head of STAHS Senior, Ann Massey said:

‘After several years exploring ways to create additional teaching spaces at STAHS Senior School, we are delighted to provide eight new classrooms conveniently located opposite the school’s main entrance. The classrooms at Number 2 and 4 Townsend Avenue are a fantastic new resource for girls and staff to enjoy.’
